Redeeming Relationships

Today’s episode of Redeemed & Restored is entitled “Redeeming Relationships.” As I ponder the work God did in redeeming and restoring my family relationships, I have to remember how little coaching I received on what relationships are supposed to look like. God has been faithful to send people into my life who model what true relationships look like. In this episode I am extremely transparent of how I treated my relationships and how God helped me to pursue healing, forgiveness & reconciliation of those I so deeply wounded and how God in His mercy redeemed my broken relationships and blessed me with new relationships.

Key Takeaways

  • “Trust takes time to rebuild. Resist the urge to rush it or give up.”
  • “When you are the one who did the wounding, repent to God, and then humble yourself and ask for forgiveness to the one you wounded. Then, allow the Holy Spirit time to do the healing & redeeming.”
  • “Always stand on God’s promise that He is working all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purposes.” (Romans 8:28)
